Some teachers using Twitter with their classes (teacher/classroom account updated from teacher computer)
My Big Campus (who else is using it? ideas? issues?)
BYOD
Cell phones/mobile devices in the high school
Laptops (and other devices)
Red Lion is piloting with several teachers (honors & AP classes). Planning to move forward 4th marking period and opening it up to the rest of the High School to work out the bugs before next year.
How does this impact teachers & instruction? What changes need to occur to address...
Multiple devices and platforms...troubleshooting? battery power?
Kids forget, don't have access and your lesson is dependent on the device
Dallastown began BYOD at the High School this year. Not a huge response (too heavy, worry about being stolen/broken, etc). Seeing no more than maybe 5 devices per class.
